LPG Boiler Upgrade for a Romney Marsh Park Home

The Brief

A park home on Romney Marsh was running on LPG, and the previous boiler had reached the end of its life. It was becoming unreliable and was no longer running efficiently, which meant higher gas costs and the worry of a breakdown during the colder months. The owner wanted a modern, efficient LPG combi boiler fitted properly, with a fresh safety certificate for the site.

What We Did

Our work included:

• Surveyed the installation: We visited the park home to look over the existing LPG boiler, the flue and the gas supply, and confirmed the right modern LPG combi for the property.
• Removed the old boiler: We safely isolated the gas and water, then disconnected and removed the old unit, leaving the space clear and ready for the new boiler.
• Installed a modern LPG combi: We fitted an efficient LPG combi boiler suited to a park home, giving reliable heating and hot water from a single compact unit.
• Ran tidy pipework: All gas and water connections were made to manufacturer specifications and British standards, with neat, well-supported pipework and every joint tested for leaks.
• Commissioned the boiler: We filled, pressurised and thoroughly tested the system, and checked the controls and safety devices were all working correctly.
• Issued the certificate: We carried out the final gas checks and issued a fresh LPG gas safety certificate for the property and the site.

The Result

The park home now has reliable heating and hot water from a modern, efficient LPG combi boiler. The new unit runs more efficiently than the old one, so the owner benefits from lower running costs, and the fresh LPG gas safety certificate keeps everything compliant for the site.
